Time Higher Education (THE) reavaled their “Asia University Rankings”  on June 2. Hanyang University decreased 4 ranks from last year to the 42nd.

In the Asia total rankings, China’s Tsinghua University, Peking University, National University of Singapore, University of Hong Kong, and Nanyang Technological University ranked in the top five. Among domestic universities, Seoul National University ranked the highest at 9th and Hanyang University ranked 9th in total standards.

Hanyang University unfortunately slipped 4 steps to the 42nd, but compared to last year, the total score increased by 1.5 points and all 5 performance indicator scores increased as well. Especially, the industry income increased by 5.3 points to 97.6 to rank 5th among domestic universities.

Meanwhile, 551 universities from 30 Asian countries participated in the 2021 THE Asia University Rankings and 13 indexes such as △citations 30% △research outcome 30% △teaching 25% △globalization 7.5% △industry income 7.5% were used for evaluation.
